UPT: Punching Above Its Weight

|

Titusville, Pa., (population: about 6,000) tends to punch above its weight: 104 years after giving birth to the oil industry, this residential town became associated with an academic powerhouse—Pitt.

Founded in 1963, the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville (UPT) provides career-oriented programs for students pursuing two-year associate degrees. It also offers more than 100 relocation and transfer programs for those interested in baccalaureate or professional degrees.

In addition, Pitt-Titusville students can stay on campus to earn bachelor’s degrees in business management and human relations from Pitt’s Bradford campus.

Like Pitt's other regional campuses, Pitt-Titusville offers the advantages of a liberal arts college plus the resources, diversity, and prestige of a major research university.
